Ryan Stahl

President & CEO
Ryan Stahl founded Equinox Development with a focus on cultivating lasting client relationships by providing a level of service that is both strategic and detailed. As President & CEO, Ryan is responsible for the overall operations and execution of the company and its many projects. Additionally, Ryan ensures that the overall strategy of the company is aligned with the various market dynamics that impact the Commercial Real Estate industry.

Holding positions with both national and local development companies, Ryan has a diverse background in commercial real estate development. Prior to forming Equinox in 2003, Ryan spent seven years with Opus South Corporation where he developed projects ranging from grocery-anchored shopping centers to mid-rise office buildings & industrial distribution facilities. Thereafter, he spent two years as Senior Vice President with Pelloni Development where he was responsible for the development of multiple, successful large-scale mixed-use developments. He parlayed that knowledge of both small and large development companies into the company that Equinox is today and collectively has been involved in projects that have an aggregate value of over $1.1 billion.

Ryan has received numerous awards over the years ranging from Retail Development of the Year to Game Changer of the Year from the Orlando Business Journal. However, he considers giving back to the community more important than any award received. Throughout the years, Ryan has done so through a broad range of positions at Kid’s House of Seminole, Seminole High School Foundation and the UCF Real Estate Council, while focusing on outward giving to numerous other local and national charitable causes.

Since moving to Central Florida in 1993, Ryan has been a proud resident of Seminole County. He and his wife currently reside in Lake Mary where they have raised their three teenage daughters while being heavily involved within the community.

Amy McCook

Senior Vice President & Partner
Amy McCook, represents Equinox in the State of Florida in the pursuit of acquisition and development opportunities. As Senior Vice President, Amy is responsible for analyzing new opportunities as well as successfully executing on development deals. Over the last eight years she has been an integral part of the growth of the company and has overseen dozens of ground up developments of varying complexity and scale. Amy is detail-oriented and hands-on from property acquisition to grand opening while she coordinates a broad range of development activities including site due diligence, research, project management, permitting and tenant development services. Amy excels at cultivating relationships with and garnering the respect of staff at various municipalities in the area and with tenants who do multiple deals with Equinox. All of this contributes to mutually beneficial relationships which result in new growth that benefits the Central Florida community.

Prior to joining Equinox, Amy was a member of Walt Disney Imagineering's Real Estate Development Team. There she was a part of developing and implementing real estate strategy for land holdings at Walt Disney World. Amy traveled the country benchmarking best-in-class retail and mixed-use developments, interacting with world-renown architects and identifying unique retail concepts all for the conceptual development of a mixed-use project totaling one million square feet. It was while working at Disney that she established a creative foundation, learned the art of placemaking and refined the process of curating retail.

Amy has been recognized as a “Woman to Watch” by the Orlando Business Journal and as a Visionary of Central Florida by a joint committee of Orlando’s ULI, CREW and ICSC.

She is active in the Central Florida community having spent countless hours volunteering and mentoring in addition to having served on numerous boards and committees including: UCF Real Estate Advisory Council, Junior League of Greater Orlando, CREW – Programs Committee and Future Leaders Steering Committee, ICSC Next Gen, Ivanhoe Village Main Street Program liaison.

Amy is able to couple her diverse practical experience and high-quality formal education to always deliver above expectations. She has a Masters of Science in Real Estate from New York University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami. Amy is proud to call Altamonte Springs home, where she resides with her husband and two young children.

Joey Clayton

Senior Vice President & Partner
Joey Clayton utilizes more than two decades of experience in the retail development industry to expand the Equinox footprint into the Southeast United States. Joey is headquartered in Greenville, SC, and he leads all development opportunities and manages projects outside the State of Florida.

Prior to joining Equinox, Joey was the Director of Real Estate and Development at Taco Bell where he co-led a nationwide team to expand the brand at the highest rate of any restaurant in the United States. He was the National Director of Corporate Real Estate leading the brand's roll out of Taco Bell Cantina, an urban fast casual concept with expanded menu including beer, wine and spiked freezes. The urban nature of the Cantina concept brought numerous interactions with multiuse developments and urban regentrification districts across the US.

His other experience includes handling branch development for Chase Bank in Central and South Florida; corporate and franchise real estate in the Southeast for KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Long John Silvers and A&W; and commercial real estate appraisal. Joey uses his extensive retailer experience to provide a specialized service to retail corporations, large and small, who need a reliable partner.

Joey has a Masters in Finance from The Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and a Bachelors of Business Administration from Furman University. He resides in Greenville, South Carolina with his wife and two children.

Genny Hall

Senior Vice President & Partner
Genny Hall oversees the tenant relationships and lease negotiations for all Equinox developments. For the past fifteen years, Genny has been a well-respected member of the brokerage community in Central Florida and has built an unprecedented network of retailer, owner and broker relationships that have proven integral to her role at Equinox. Her acumen in commercial real estate enables her to find the ideal fit to suit the needs of all parties. She is able to analyze the features of a property and provide an optimum solution. Genny brings this expertise to Equinox, marking a new chapter for the firm and for her career.

Prior to joining Equinox, Genny was the Managing Director of Retail Services at Colliers International where she led the retail leasing platform for Central Florida. While there Genny completed over $140 million worth of retail leasing transactions for properties ranging from traditional power and lifestyle shopping centers to ground-up retail developments and specialty mixed-use projects. In addition to working with both regional and local developers, she has also represented a number of large, best-in-class institutional clients such as Regency Centers, Crow Holdings, TIAA-CREF, and GE Real Estate.

Genny graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in both Finance and Real Estate. In 2003 she moved to Orlando to begin her career in commercial real estate. She lives in Winter Park with her husband and two daughters.

Kirsten Davis

Development and Leasing Manager
Kirsten Davis is the firm’s Leasing and Development Manager. Her extensive real estate, development and contracts experience lends itself to each and every deal, where she works tirelessly to ensure a smooth transaction. Her knack for follow-up and organization allow her to be involved in all project aspects. Kirsten works with each person at Equinox, from drafting legal documents including contracts and agreements, reviewing existing leases, project timelines, bids and project deliverables, or even reviewing Due Diligence on new projects and performing research. Kirsten also stays in close contact with Tenants and property managers after construction to ensure a smooth transition and see that any Tenant needs are addressed.

Originally from Chicago, IL, Kirsten spent much of her childhood in the Northeast before relocating with her family to Florida in the early 1990’s. Spending her teenage and adult years in the Orlando area has given her great area knowledge and has allowed her to witness the Orlando area’s growth firsthand. Kirsten attended Valencia Community College for Business Administration and IFREC Real Estate School.

When she isn’t at work, Kirsten enjoys spending time with her husband, son and their two dogs. She keeps herself busy with house projects, refinishing furniture and enjoys volunteering at Camp Boggy Creek in Eustis and Orange County Animal Services.

Dani Meyering

Development and Leasing Coordinator
Dani Meyering is a member of the firm’s Development and Leasing team. Her extensive hospitality and executive support experience provide a well-rounded and diverse perspective. Her creativity spurs her to work on a wide variety of projects including contracts, leases, corporate philanthropic initiatives, market research, and more.

A proud graduate from the University of Central Florida, Dani was one of the first students to attend the Rosen College of Hospitality Management. Prior to joining Equinox, she acquired 15 years of experience in hospitality, including hotel ownership and asset management.

As a Central Florida native, Dani takes great pride in the entire Orlando and Central Florida area. She is excited to contribute to the communities she loves so dearly through meaningful development. Her enthusiasm for the Central Florida community is evident as she volunteers for multiple organizations and writes about Orlando in her spare time. Above all she enjoys spending time with her husband and their son.

Catherine Craven

Financial Administrator
Catherine brings over 25 years of experience in the construction industry including extensive roles in project administration and project accounting/finance. Her background includes involvement in projects through engineering phases, survey and mapping, road construction, environmental assessment, manufacturing, mechanical and full-scope commercial construction. This exposure to many different facets of the construction industry and its unique accounting needs, along with her diligence and attention to detail, gives Catherine a unique edge to excellently manage the financial needs of each Equinox project.

Prior to joining Equinox, Catherine owned and operated her own accounting & small business consulting service as a QuickBooks Pro Advisor. This entrepreneurial spirit is an asset to the firm.

Originally from Nashville, TN Catherine has lived in Central Florida for over 35 years. She enjoys her own DIY home projects on her historic Mount Dora bungalow, relaxing weekend retreats to New Smyrna Beach and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
