Community

As we reflect on the past and prepare for the future, we believe in the intent to Give Help + Offer Hope to others.

EQX Day is celebrated each year during the Spring and Fall Equinoxes. In the Fall, EQX Day is celebrated by selecting valued partners and donating to a charity of their choosing. In the Spring, we gather partners, friends, and colleagues to make a difference in our community.

Spring EQX Day 2024

Nemours Children’s Hospital

March 28th, 2024

For this year’s Spring EQX Day, we had the opportunity to come together with Nemours Children’s Hospital. Nemours provides the medical care and research to improve children’s health for good, beyond medicine.

It is the annual tradition for Spring EQX Day where we typically serve in the community with our partners, friends, and colleagues in the business. This year however, Nemours offered us an opportunity to have a greater impact in a very small setting by spending time with the children and their parents and restocking playrooms with previously donated toys, creating celebration and birthday signs, and bagging items into individual giveaway bags. It was a very memorable and impactful day.

Access to safe water changes lives, building health and hope. It creates educational and economic opportunities that break the cycle of poverty. Over 2 billion people around the world lack access to safe water. Water Mission has helped provide more than 8,000,000 people in 60 countries with lasting, safe water solutions. My wife and I have supported this organization with the belief that everyone should have access to clean water and provide support to a Christian-based Ministry.

West Suburban Community Pantry

This group is driven by its vision of a community without hunger for suburban Chicago residents. Food is the most basic of human needs, but for many it is a struggle. The West Suburban Community Pantry provides food for the hungry and referrals to community resources to ease and eliminate the circumstances that led them to seek aid. Please join me in supporting this organization in its important work.

The Sharing Center

We choose The Sharing Center. Our team believes that giving needs to begin at home, in our own community. The Sharing Center exists to fight homelessness and hunger in Longwood and greater Seminole County, Florida. Those experiencing poverty can get a hand up through one of The Sharing Center’s Key Programs such as: Families in Crisis, The Pantry, The Oasis, and Life Builder. These programs address immediate needs, as well as provide extended support that lead individuals and families toward a better future and long-term stability.

CASA

CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates. It is an organization which trains volunteers to be advocates for children who have experienced abuse or neglect, many of whom are in foster care. Their belief is that every child should be given the opportunity to thrive in a safe and loving home. Volunteers are appointed to advocate for children’s best interests. I’ve been passionately supporting this organization since college and hope that you will too!
