Coastal Conservation Association
The purpose of Coastal Conservation Association is to advise and educate the public on conservation of marine resources. The objective of CCA is to conserve, promote, and enhance the present and future availability of those coastal resources for the benefit and enjoyment of the general public. The CCA not only safeguards the rights of recreational fishermen but also actively engages in a variety of conservation projects. Their efforts include oyster bed restoration, creating artificial reefs, cleaning up algae buildup, restoring turtle grass, and combating red tide, among other initiatives.

We as Floridians understand the value of protecting, preserving, and restoring the Wekiva Water Basin. This organization promotes “Smart Growth” in development and oversight to ensure this habitat is protected for generations to come.
